With reference to the article, "Bug in sharing for embedded spreadsheet in Google Apps site" reporting that Google Sites requests logging in to view publicly displayed databases, kindly find offered a Temporary Login & Password below to overcome the bug for the moment.  However, as soon as Google rectifies the bug, the databases will be able to be seen without logging in.

Procedure of the Research Encouragement Protocols (First Published on October 14, 2010):

  • Research Encouragement protocols can be requested individually by the Faculty/Staff OR called for Institutionally
  • If it is a request that has originated individually, kindly prepare a presentation according to the various classifications given below and send an email to Prof. Dr. A. Prabhu Britto, Dean (Research & Development) at dean@vmkvresearch.org requesting to convene the Panel for fulfilling the Research Encouragement protocols.
  • If it is an Institutional procedure, Research Encouragement protocol will initiate with a communication to the Faculty/Staff Members intimating the date and time of discussion with the panel members.
  • If the Faculty/Staff needs more time (if its an Institutional procedure), it may kindly be communicated to the Dean (Research & Development) at dean@vmkvresearch.org
  • Prior to the Research Discussions, the following "Research Encouragement Protocols -- Faculty or Staff Data Submission Form" excel file needs to be downloaded and sent to the Dean (Research & Development) at dean@vmkvresearch.org with details duly filled in (excepting the relevant columns where Panel Members' data need to be filled in).  In case of any doubt, the Faculty/Staff may kindly contact the Dean (Research & Development)
  • At the time of discussion, the presentation by the Faculty/Staff and suggestions by the panel members are recorded transparently
  • In case of Individual Request for initiation of Research Encouragement Protocols, the Faculty/Staff may request proceedings of the discussion and submit to the Head of Institution, thereby concluding the Research Encouragement Protocols.
  • In case of Institutional Request for initiation of Research Encouragement Protocols, the Dean (Research & Development) will forward the proceedings of the discussion to the Head of Institution copied to the Faculty/Staff and the Panel Members, thereby concluding the Research Encouragement Protocols.
  • All Proceedings of the Research Encouragement Protocols are published (with restricted access using login and password) for the benefit of all Faculty/Staff of the Institution -- as each proceeding helps as a case study in improving the research of all Faculty/Staff of the Institution
  • If Other Institutions/Universities require help in Research Encouragement Protocols, they may kindly communicate via proper channel to dean@vmkvresearch.org
