Introduction:

The Industry Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing is an innovative practical approach for a realizable & successful Industry-Institute Partnership.

Industry-Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing Protocol:
  1. The Industry-Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing Protocol initiates with identification of suitable/appropriate Industry OR Association of Industries by the Dean (Research & Development)
    • The Industry-Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing Protocol can also be initiated by the Industry OR Association of Industries by sending an email to dean@vmkvresearch.org, CC'ed to britto@prabhubritto.org indicating their interest to forge a partnership with the Institution.
  2. Initial feelers are sent to the Industry/Association of Industries.
  3. Based on their favorable response, relevant Administrative procedures are called for at the Institute.
  4. Multiple rounds of discussions are carried out to forge ambitious Industry-Institute Partnerships.
  5. Initial Collaborative Activity is restricted to extending facilities for theoretical & practical refresher courses for the Partnering Industry/Institute, which may be done free OR with a minimum nominal charge.
  6. The Initial Collaborative Activity is followed by discussions at multiple hierarchical levels between the Partnering Industry/Institute.
  7. Needs are identified, followed by analysis of the possibility of providing a solution for the needs by the Partnering Industry/Institute.
  8. This is followed by the initiation of the Second Stage of the Industry-Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing Protocol, wherein the Partnering Industry/Institution work together for achieving the solutions.
  9. Once the solutions are achieved, the Third Stage of the Industry-Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing Protocol initiates by calling for test/analysis of the solution.
  10. When the solution passes stringent test/analysis criteria, the Fourth Stage of the Industry-Institute Partnership Sharing Protocol identifies means to patent/trademark the solution with both the stake holders, viz., the Industry & the Institute holding rights over the tested solution.
  11. The Fifth/Final Stage of the Industry-Institute Partnership for Technology Sharing Protocol identifies ways & means to commercialize the solution through the IEDC / representative Divisions of the Institute working together with the Industry
  12. Clarifications can be obtained by sending an email to dean@vmkvresearch.org, CC'ed to britto@prabhubritto.org
